(NY is not Compact) Required Certifications: OB-ACLS or ACLS, BLS, EFM certification, NRP REQUIRED CLINICAL SKILLS ======================== Assist with vaginal delivery, Circulate for C-section, Recover C-Section, Magnesium Sulfate therapy, Pitocin (oxytocin, Terbutaline) APGAR scores, Baby Nurse ( Baby Catcher ), ID/Security Banding, Radiant Warmers/Thermoregulation Foley catheter insertion/management, Fundus/lochia/perineum care, Post Partum Hemorrhage, Pregnancy induced hypertension NST(Non Stress Tests), Use of EFM(External Fetal Heart Monitoring),Use of IUPC(Intrauterine pressure catheter) placement and calibration UNIT DETAILS AND FLOATING ========================= Unit Details: All pregnant patients at any gestational age accepted by the provider team are cared for. Triage evaluates all pregnant patients at any gestational age and all postpartum patients within 6 weeks of delivery.
