You will work a hybrid scenario at the discretion of the manager based in Rock Hill, SC..Key Responsibilities:Design and develop infrastructure projects, such as roads, bridges, and buildings, ensuring safety and efficiencyConduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with design specificationsEvaluate structural systems like steel members, reinforced concrete, composite steelResolve technical issues for building structure design, fabrication , assembly and construction phasesTechnical justification for design changes and emergent issues and troubleshootingOn-site support at utilities, sites and smaller projectsUse ANSYS, LS-DYNA, GTSTRUDLMaintain software compliance records and closure of engineering corrective actionsLearn industry civil/structural codes and standards like ACI, AISC, ASCE and AWSSketches and markups using AutoCAD or similar CADDocument design change proposals, document revisions, new documents and drawing generationQualifications:Bachelor's degree in civil or structural Engineering8+ years of experience civil/structuralCivil/structural evaluations, design engineeringInterested in nuclear and interested in pursuing FE/EIT, PE certificationTools such as ANSYS, LS-DYNA, GTSTRUDL or similarWe are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices.
