Title: Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery
Duration: 13 weeks
Location: 1425 Portland Ave Bldg 3 Rochester NY 14621
Schedule: Floating Shift 3*12s 36hours/week
Shift: 7 AM7 PM / 7 PM7 AM (alternating)
Contract: 13 weeks
Experience: Labor & Delivery experience required
Certifications: BLS ACLS/OB-ACLS EFM NRP
License: Active New York RN license required; pending license not accepted
Weekend: Every other weekend (EOW)
On-Call: None
First-Time Travelers: Accepted
Local Candidates: Not accepted within 75 miles
Charting: EPIC experience required; CPN/GE Centricity also referenced
RTO/Block Requests: Must be submitted with profile
Holiday: Must be available every other holiday if needed
Floating: Required within skillset
Scrubs: Hospital provided
Call-Off Policy: Up to 3 shifts may be canceled during the 13-week contract without charges
Required Clinical Skills
Vaginal deliveries C-section circulation and recovery
Magnesium Sulfate Pitocin and Terbutaline administration
APGAR scoring newborn care and ID/security banding
Radiant warmers and thermoregulation
Foley catheter insertion and management
Fundus lochia and perineal care
Postpartum hemorrhage and pregnancy-induced hypertension
NST EFM and IUPC placement/calibration
Unit Details
Cares for pregnant patients at any gestational age and postpartum patients up to 6 weeks after delivery
Equipment: GE fetal/telemetry monitors Monica wireless fetal monitoring Neopuff and Draeger newborn warmers
